Timing applet is used to set your business hours every day or even to control your call flow based on timings, shifts even Holidays.

Reference video:

As depicted above, please click on the “+” symbol to mention the timings for each day. In case of holidays or non-working days, you can let the days be marked as closed.

Note: From time should always be lesser than the To time. For example, if you need to set your business hours from 6 AM to 12 AM, do select the timings from 06:00 AM to 11:59 PM.

Once the timing is set, control your call flow based on the timings set. As shown in the image, there are 2 options,

  1. Open applet: The open applet is the one where you can build your call flow for your business hours (This is the time that falls within the business hours set in the timing applet).

  1. Closed applet: The closed applet can be used to indicate what needs to be done when there is an incoming call pre or post the business hours mentioned in the timing applet. For example, if you want to play a greeting saying you are closed, you can add a greeting applet.

Please note that in the case of multiple shift timings, multiple timing applets can be used in the closed hours of the preceding timing applet. For example, if there are multiple shift timing based on which the call needs to be routed to different groups, the first shift would be 9 AM to 2 PM and the second shift would be 2 PM to 6 PM. This can be done by adding a timing for 9 AM to 2 PM initially, inside the closed applet of the 9 AM to 2 PM shift, another timing applet can be added to accommodate the shift from 2 PM to 6 PM.
