The Email Ids are always hardcoded into our database. As you might have noticed,  the edit option in the "Co-workers & Groups" section does not allow you to change the email ID of a co-worker.

There might be various reasons why you would want to change the email ID with which your co-worker logs into the Exotel account and hence we have come up with a solution that will help you change the Email ID.

1) Delete the existing co-worker -

The co-worker whose email id has to be changed should be deleted from the "Co-workers & Groups" panel first.

To delete you can click on the -ve sign,

Please note: Only a co-worker having Admin access can do this. If you are the only Admin of the account, give the Admin rights to a trusted co-worker for a while who can follow the steps below.

2) Invite a new Co-worker and give them the Admin rights -

This support article will help you invite a co-worker to use your Exotel account. You will have to enter some details to invite the co-worker and one of them is his/her email Id. Enter the new Email id of the co-worker with the other details (FirstName, LastName, PhoneNumber) of the co-worker remaining the same.

Possible Error that can pop up here: "This email id is already in use in another account". In such case, please write to and our support team will get in touch with you right away.
