List Manager enables you to subscribe phone numbers in & out of a list based on a caller action. On drag-drop into the "Drop applet here" box, The List Manager gives you two options:
- Choose a list
- Choose an action (Add or Delete)

In the following call flow, as soon as a call comes in, we are subscribing him to a list called "Test" and disconnecting the call. This app is an example of an Opt-In subscription.
You can also do advanced actions like capturing what the caller pressed in an IVR menu. For this, you will now create different lists for each key press and "add" the caller to that corresponding list depending on keypress. Something like this:
In the above example, as soon as the call starts, Exotel greets - "Press 1 for sales, 2 for service" and if the caller presses 1, his number is added to a list called "Schools Mailer".
You can now go view what is there in the schools mailer (and download if required) from the address book.
