Who is a signing authority?

Signing authority is a person who is authorised to sign contracts on behalf of your company


What should you do?


  1. If you have not added the details of the signing authority, kindly add the details to the company info page

  2. If there are any changes in the signing authority details, update the signing authority details

Why do we need the details of the signing authority?


  1. Usually, developers and/or business users use Exotel. By using Exotel, these users implicitly agree to the “Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” but your signing authority may not be aware of it.

  2. Users can also view the “Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” anytime in the footer of all pages in Exotel.
  3. We want to share the “Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” with your signing authority

  4. If there are any changes in our “Terms of Service and Privacy Policy”, we want to share the changes with the signing authority


How do we share our “Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” with your signing authority?

We will send an email with the links to the “Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” and/or the description of the changes, if any, to the signing authority



What should the signing authority do?


  • Signing authority should read the “Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” and consider this as a contract agreement between your company and Exotel.

  • Singing authority should note that by using Exotel, your company implicitly agrees to the “Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” of Exotel.


What should the singing authority do if there are any concerns/disagreements with the “Terms of Service and Privacy Policy”
