Step 1: Register for Exotel - https://my.exotel.com/auth/register

  • Log In to your Exotel Account - http://my.exotel.in/
  • You will find the ‘App Bazaar’ button in the Admin Section of the Leftmost Panel on your screen please click on that.
  • On the Top Panel of the App Bazaar Page, please click on the Available Apps tab and scroll down to the Huddle App. 
  • With Huddle App, you can easily set up conference calling with your Exophone.

Step 2: Setting up the Huddle App

  1. Choose a name for this App: It’s your choice! (Example: SOS Rescue Team Conference App)

  2. Add a Passcode: Choose to set a passcode (only numbers) for your conference to ensure that only those with the passcode can join (Example: 1298)

  3. Pick a moderator group (optional): You may use this functionality to ensure that someone from a particular group must be present for the conference to begin.

  4. Record Conference: It’s optional. You may check this box if you would like to record the conference and play it back at a later date.

  5. Click ‘Install’

  6. Once installation is done you need to visit the Installed Apps Section on the top panel of the App Bazaar Page to buy the conference app you created. It would have the same name as the one you filled in Step 4a. (Please note: You will not be charged any setup fees for your conference app when you click ‘buy’. It’s completely free - you would only be charged a minimal amount of 10 paise per minute per caller)

  7. Finally, you may either assign an existing Exophone through which you may create conference calls OR you may buy a new Exophone for your conference calls. The app is currently not supported with Delhi (011) and Karnataka (080) numbers. 

  8. Please note we recommend the number of participants to be up to a maximum of 15, beyond which call quality issues might surface.
