A moderator is a key person or people in the conference call.
When you set up the Huddle app, you will be asked to pick a group as Moderator. Until someone who's a part of the group you've picked joins, the conference call will not start. The other members will only hear the connecting tone and won't be able to interact if the moderator is not present on the call.
