Every postpaid account will be set with a 'Credit Limit'. Your Exotel account will remain active until your outstanding bills reach this limit.

If your outstanding payment amount breaches this limit, your Exotel account will automatically stop working, ie your services will be temporarily disabled.

How is my credit limit calculated?

We shall set your credit limit to twice the maximum comparatively among your last 3 bills. If your latest bill happens to be less than the month before, we will not reduce your credit limit. For Eg: If your last 3 months' bills were 6500, 9000, and 7000, your credit limit would be set to 9000 * 2 = Rs. 18000. Your credit limit will automatically be re-calculated every month.

I want to be safe. How do I know if I'm nearing my credit limit?

Normally if you make your payment within a week of receiving the bill from Exotel, there won't be any issues. But if you are nearing your credit limit, we will intimate you via email regarding the same. You can set the duration for which you want to be alerted under notification settings.
